Still trying to track down the parents of my Hiram Stacy who lived in Piscataquis Co., Maine. Found in the 1810 Census a John Stacy who lived in Livermore, Oxford Co., Maine. Does anyone know anything about him? I have not been able to find him previously or after 1810. I have a reference that Dolly Stacy, William Stacy, Hiram Stacy and Sukie Stacy attended school in Livermore. The list was 1806 to 1810-11 timeframe. Could this be my Hiram? He had children named William and Susan. Perhaps he named them after his siblings. I have a deadend/brickwall after this. They were listed in the Catalog of Scholars from the NOTES HISTORICAL AND DESCRIPTIVE AND PERSONAL OF LIVERMORE IN ANDROSCOGGIN [FORMERLY IN OXFORD] COUNTY, MAINE published in 1874.
