I have an ancestor who was a sea captain from Washington County, Maine, during the period of the mid 1860's through about 1900. I have the names of three ships of which he was master.

Where might I find certificates, ship logs, ephemera, pertaining to this individual?

... and is there a place where I can find out more about the specific vessels he sailed?

Please contact: mcpaladin@netzero.net
