Looking for any information on Jane Duran(d/t) and her family from the Gorham/Windham Maine area. She married George Valentine Farnham of Gorham Maine abt 1860. Farnham children born in Gorham Maine were Minnie E. 19 Dec 1861 and Lizzie Maria 25 Apr 1864. Her daughter Minnie was always teased by the family, calling her Minnie-ha-ha, and were alway calling her children "war-hoops", and threatening to send her and her children back to live with the Indians where she belonged. The only Indian lineage could have been through Jane, as the Farnhams are all traced back to the boats. |
