I'm working on my family's genealogy and would like to find more info on Christopher P Mullen who was from Ireland and then lived in Maine. He married Ann Johnson and Sarah Jane Gustin and lived in Easton, Maine. Any info would be appreciated. |

Might Christopher Mullen have been in Waterville, Kennebec county by the 1860 federal census at age 18 with his parents Joseph and Sarah and many siblings, all of whom were born in Ireland? Might he have been in Athens, Somerset County for the 1870 federal census at age 29 with his wife, Ann, age 29 and children: Joseph, 4; Lizzie, 2 and Patrick, 1? By 1920 was he 80 years old, widowed and living in Mars Hill, Aroostook, (just south of Easton)? That federal census suggests he came to this country from Ireland in 1856 and was naturalized in 1860 or 1862. Why cannot he be found in the 1880 federal census? |
