Hi,

I have been researching the descendants of my ggg grandfather Dr. William Bell Little. Dr. Little and his wife, Mary Ann (nee Fowler) raised a family of 12 in Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada in the early/mid 1800's. The oldest son, William Nicholson Little, had two daughters. According to this rootsweb site (http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:594980&id=I4147), one of the daughters, Elvira Amelia Little, married Amon H. Tapley and died in Robinson, Maine in 1913.

According to the above site, three of Elvira Amelia and Amon's children also died in Robinson, Bessie Lee Tapley (she married Hadley Beem), Frederick Victoria Tapley (he married Sadie Thomas) and Ella May Tapley (she married Ray Noddin).

I tried contacting the author/owner (Michelle Miron) but had no success reaching her. Would someone know where this Robinson, Maine is located (county etc)and/or if they have any additional info on the descendants of Elvira and Amon Tapley.

Regards,
Jerry

The town is Robbinston [not Robinson], and is located just south of Calais in Washington County.

Hi Jerry and David,

Robinsons Maine is part of Blaine. Here's a link to a web site with a little more info. Don't think they have a zip code.http://www.pichamber.com/content/view/13/30/

Found this when searching for my Mom's birthplace for use in her obit. She was born in Robinsons Maine in 1917 (just as my father told us). Her father was Hubert Mills. Mother was Nina Tweedie.
