I am searching for the birth parents of great grandmother said by family oral history to have been a twin and adopted in Deer Island Maine 1863. I have not found evidence of family connections in area, orphanage or home for girls that would substantiate this claim. One piece of evidence is the listing of her birthplace as Rockland Maine on the birth record of one of her four children. |
