Anyone have sources pointing to birth of my ggg grandfather BENJAMIN McINTIRE? Various bits point to 1791 to 1793 (tombstone death date & age=1793 PLUS 2 census' ages point to 1791) Marriage: Info shows this 'Benjamin' was married to Maria Prince as follows from North Yarmouth, Maine Vital Records: McIntire, Benjamin of North Yarmouth and Maria Prince of North Yarmouth Int. August 7, 1819 Married August 25, 1819 Children: Lucy ? m. Benjamin Lunt of Cumberland, Cumb. Cty, ME Mary A abt 1817 Levi S b. December 5, 1818-1823 (my g.g. grandfather; obviously haven't confirmed his birth date) Henry S June 16, 1824 Benjamin F December 12, 1828-1829 David C 1831-36 Sarah abt 1837 Tombstone in New Gloucester, ME: Benj. died Aug. 8, 1872, ae. 81 (calculates to abt 1791) So, in 1819 Benj. m.in No. Yarmouth, Cumb., ME In 1850 New Gloucester, Cumberland Cty, ME Census, ae. 57, with Maria & the 2 youngest children listed above) In 1860 New Gloucester, Cumberland Cty, ME Census, ae. 67 with M. In 1871 he was buried in New Gloucester, ME. Possible FATHER to my Benj.: A Benjamin McIntire (head of family) in the 1790 Census of Falmouth, Cumberland Cty, ME. Any help greatly appreciated.
