I am looking for any available information on the family and parentage of Sarah Patience Inman of Springfield. In 1870 she married my great-grandfather Amaziah John Watson. I have had great success in tracing Amaziah's family back to the 1620's but cannot get a handle on Sarah Patience Inman. The water is clouded by the fact that she used her middle name more than her first name and quite frequently used S. Patience as a name.

Joseph and Sarah Inman reside in Lee, Penobscot, Maine for the 1860 federal census with Martha, 15; Abby, 13; Patience, 10 and Horatio, 18. Amaziah Watson, age 16, appears to be nearby with his parents Levi and Hannah. Joseph and Sarah at 56 and 48 are in Springfield by 1870 with Horatio, 28; Nettie, 20, Angeline, 10; Wallie, 6 and Edward 2. Everyone was reportedly born in Maine. I cannot find an 1850 census record for Joseph and Sarah in Maine.
