Anyone know of Moses Worcester, born about 1739 (probably Columbia, Washington Cty or Kittery, York Cty., ME)? I think he died around 1817 in Columbia, ME. Would like to fill in the blanks on him and get info on his wife...Judith Norard (have no info on her). |

Moses Worcester was born about 1739 in Berwick, ME. He was baptized Sept 9, 1771. He was first married to, according to some, Judith perhaps Norrad, and by other accounts a Native American. Neither of these is verified. Her married second Susannah Nash Knowles in 1805. She died sometime after 1836.ÊHe moved to Pleasant River some time after 1763. He was a soldier in the Revolution, andÊsaw several tours of duty with different companies involved in protecting the coast. He is listed as an inhabitiant of #6 West Machias in 1778. He died about 1815 in Colombia, ME. |
