Am helping a friend find Parsons ancestors of a Albert Parsons (Chicago - died 1946/47 - was married to a Romaine Rutz [?]) Their son Charles died in 1997 and also lived in Chicago and married a Mary. Albert might have had a brother Ed and a sisiter Adeline Ultrich (?).
Anyone living in/near Parsonsfield or researching any Parsons from there please reply to . (There is an underscore before holly.)

You might trying searching the Social Security Death Index...if Albert applied for social security or even worked he should have an application on file...the application will tell you the names of his parents and the country they are from.

Also write to a main library in the city and see if they have copies of old newspapers and will send you a copy of an obituary. Those sometimes have a wealth of info.

Finally, visit familysearch.com, rootsweb.com (the familyconnect topic) or even ancestry, com. You may find people there who have worked on a Parson line.

You can also visit your local Family History Center (located in a Mormon Church). the librarians in there can ehlp a great deal and you can find all kinds of things plus get things on loan from the Salt Lake Genealogical Library.

I am searching for the parents of Susan A Parsons born June 1853 in Maine, county unknown. She married John Richard McDonald on Nov 28 1876 in Nebraska, county unknown. If anyone has access to the census recs index for 1860, would you be willing to look for a 7 year old Susan A Parsons for me?

Cindi...the census records can be VERY vast in the amount of pages...knowing the city/town would help...there is a site to visit to tell you what the county is if you know city/town and state...I would be happy to check but I would need a city...do you have any clue to the name of one?
