I'm trying to locate information on my great grandfather who was supposed to have immigrated to America in 1879 and settled for some period of time in Kingman, ME. He had been in the shoemaking trade in Sweden prior to immigrating to America. Trying to find if there might be some sort of records that might help support my research. Spelling in Sweden was Jönsson.
