I've "rescued" an old photograph of Maud J. NICKERSON of Orrington, Maine which was taken at the Hardy Studio in Boston, MA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Maud likely in her teens or 20's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Maud and here family: Maud J. NICKERSON b. 1872, Orrington, ME to parents Joseph E. NICKERSON and Cynthia A. JACKSON 1880 census of Brewer, ME: Joseph E. NICKERSON, age 34, born ME, a Sea Captain, parents born ME Cynthia A. NICKERSON, wife, age 31, born ME, Keeping House, parents born ME Maud J. NICKERSON, dau, age 8, born ME, at Home Hellen W. NICKERSON, dau, age 4, born ME, at Home I am hoping to locate someone from Maud's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of her family.
