The 1880 North Carolina census shows Samuel Trivett reporting his mother and father, John and Elizabeth, were born in Maine. John and Elizabeth came to N.C. sometime before 1790 - John appears in the 1790 N.C. census. His brother Richard is in the 1800 N.C. census. John was born anywhere from 1765 to 1770. Richard was born 1767. Their parents supposedly were Samuel and Elizabeth. Samuel reportedly was born in the Boston area in 1743 and served in the 2nd Virgina Regiment in the revolution. Can anyone provide information on any of these people, or know where I might search? |
