I need to prove that Joseph Willson Waitt (1807-1859) is the son of Peter Waitt and Elizabeth Smith Willson. Joseph is in the 1850 census in Gardiner (Kennebek county) as 41 years old. Peter died in 1836 in South Gardiner. Anyone have an idea as to how I do this?
