Would anyone have information as to the parents of Capt. Robert McFarland, born abt. 1768 in Bristol Maine and married to Lydia Upham in Bristol, in 1795? Oral history from my ggrandmother from NewCastle, was he was decended from a Native American (Penobscot)mother and his parents or grandparents were lighthouse keepers somewhere around Pemaquid.
