Duncan McIntosh was born in Inverness, Scotland in 1737 and died in Windham in 1814. He married Jane Fergnason who was born in Aberdeen in 1746 and died in Windham in 1826. They were on their way to Albany but were put off on Bang's Island because of some offense. Their daughter Jeannie married a gentleman named Campbell and their daughter, Jane, married Captain Ansel Lewis. Their daughter Sarah was born Dec 12, 1830. She married James Phinney Baxter of Gorham on Sep 18, 1854. She died on Jan 12, 1872 of tuberculosis less than a year after giving birth to my grandfather, Rupert Henry Baxter.
