Trying to compile information on John e. Bailey
and ancestors/descendents. He was born abt. 1823 Calais Me. died: jan 23 1886 -prbly. in topsfield, me. He married : Mary a. Shirley : nov. 4 1845 topsfield, me. they had a large family. their son.
Seymour henry Or Horatio, as i believe they are the same person is my grandmothers line. He married: 1st to Nancy Noble- march 31 1893 topsfield, me. 3 children. his second marriage was to: Mary elizabeth Lawrence on dec 13 1910, lewiston, me. seymour was born: between 1869/1872. glad to exchange info. and will also do look ups in the Buckfield history books if anyone so desires.

I'm trying to find info on the John Bakemen(not sure of spelling)family. One of the firsr families of Penobscot County, Maine. He lost his home to the English during the revolutionary war, the homw was turned into a hospital or baraks. This is for my daughters school project, any info would be great help.
