Multiple Tobins in Lincoln in 1840, 1850 census. Specifically looking for Daniel Tobin 1803-1840. But multiple others (some with same names) - Benjamins, Johns, Solomons, Elridge - are in Lincoln during the same time periods. I am attempting to sort through them, don't know relationships of early ones (brothers?), and would like to know where they came from.
One John, in motel at census time, was from Ireland.

Though this Tobin is not specificially who you are looking for, I had the info and thought I'd share it.

When I wrote to the Boston Globe for an obit, they sent me the entire section. One of the surnames was Tobin. This obit appeared in the June 14, 1923 edition. Don't know if you can use it but here it is...

TOBIN--In No. Cambridge, June 13, Elizabeth E. Tobin. Funeral from her late home, 24 Meacham Road, Fri., June 15, ay 8 o'clock. Solemn high mass of requem at St. John's Church at 9 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Natick, Mass.
