My great grandma b.1882 said she was full Iroquois Indian, and states on the census she was born in Saco, Maine. She stated that she lived on the reservation until she was 14 yrs old. I can't seem to find a reservation in that area, and when I sent for a birth certificate to York Co. there of course wasn't one. Can someone please offer a suggestion on this. I am stuck.
