Peter, Yarmouth Historical Society is open Monday to Friday, from 1 to 5, for research. We have vital records and many other genealogical references for you to review. Yarmouth was the earliest settled portion of the old town of North Yarmouth, so we may have info on your family. We're on the top floor of the Merrill Memorial Library, Main Street, Yarmouth. Can you plan a visit? |

Mary Ellen Barnes My brother and I were just there 2 weeks ago! Perhaps you helped us at that time. We found some relatives but still no clue as to the whereabouts of Thomas Greeley's grave nor his parents names and origins. I live in Delaware, so my trips to Maine are infrequent. |

If you are doing Thomas Greely born November 29, 1801 and married to Elizabeth Hulit, his parent are listed as Asa and Jane Merrill Greely of Cumberland, Maine (North Yarmouth at that time). |

"My" Thomas Greeley was born August 26, 1791. Probably in Gray, Maine. He married Susanna Coolbroth November 30, 1814 in North Yarmouth, ME. |
