Jamie Kingman Rice, a librarian and archivist for MHS, offers up to 10 hours of archival services for private collections. Services include consulting, surveying, arranging and describing collections of personal, family or business papers, as well as recommendations for future care and storage. Depending on the size of the col¬lection, services will result in a detailed report of necessary archival procedures and supplies or the actual arrangement and description of smaller collections. Services may also be transferred to smaller local historical societies, schools or libraries. Services are limited to paper-based collections.
