The night before the Magical History Tour we'll party at the beautiful and historic State Theatre at 609 Congress St, Portland.

Guests will enjoy a dazzling live auction, and can keep bidding in our silent auction featuring art, travel, and adventures.

Location: State Theatre, 609 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101.

Food: Scrumptious light fare will be served, including a complimentary champagne cocktail. A beer and wine cash bar is available throughout the evening.

Magical History Tour

The Magical History Tour is your key to unlocking fascinating historical places throughout Portland that are not usually open to the public. Bring your family and friends and take this once-in-a-lifetime tour of historic Portland where the public rarely gets to see.

The self-guided tour will give you access to many of the unknown gems downtown and beyond. Equipped with a map, and at your own pace, you will be greeted by docents at each location ready to share the history of the tour stop and answer your questions.

Location: The Magical History Tour starts at Maine Historical Society's Brown Library at 485 Congress Street, located next door to the Wadsworth-Longfellow House. This is where guests check in, get their maps and bracelets, and can buy event-day tickets.
